The Federal Way Licensing Services is a private business that has been serving South King and North Pierce County areas since 1976. We are a private business providing vehicle and vessel licensing services on behalf of the County and the State.
Mission Statement
To provide Department of Licensing services in an efficient, professional atmosphere that serves the public. Our goal is three fold:
- a) To analyze the licensing needs of the customer and service those
- needs in a courteous manner.
- b) To inform and educate the public, providing them with a better understanding of licensing procedures.
- c) To respect and operate within the authority vested in us by the state and county.
Beginning January 2015, ALL offices will be applying a service fee. The service fee is not new to the subagent and will continue to be retained by the subagent. When processed by DOL or County the fee is applied to the fund for ferry replacement.
